THE BIG OVERNIGHTER
On March 8-9 this year, we had over 300 3rd-5th graders invade the campus for The Big Overnighter - and it was fantastic!
Our theme was “The Great Adventure”. The students in the Step Forward ministry at Red Brush Christian Church came back for the 3rd year to help lead this incredible event and they were phenomenal!
THE GREAT ADVENTURE
What can you expect at The Big Overnighter? This event is organized slightly different than a week of summer camp. Instead of students individually registering, they must register and come with a leader through their church or youth group.
Why, you ask? We focus on making this event a time for you to meet the kids in your youth group and get to know them. You’ll notice that the Big Overnighter is great for the “fringe” student or for your regular youth group attenders to invite their friends.
We’ve attempted the last few years to host two events to break up the numbers, but we never got traction on it. Therefore, this year we offered one event. It tends to fill up, so walk-ins are not allowed. Our total capacity is around 300 students & leaders, depending on breakdown of boys/girls. Campers, church leaders and Step Forward crew were filling pretty much every bed this year!
We’re looking forward to a great event once again next year! Be watching for next year's registration information this December 2024!
